How to check for expired cards on file by month
Billing > Reports > Payment Gateway Reports > Patient Card on File Report
- Show Details by: “Card Added Date”
- Date Range: Set to 1 year from the day you run the report
- Group Report By: Card Expiry
Ideally we should be working this report toward the end of the month. We can’t work too far ahead as patients may not have a new card if they are more than a few months out.
This serves to keep payment methods up to date, and has a side benefit of deactivating charts that show no recent activity.
